Fall Season Information:
Fall In-House basketball is open to boys and girls in 1st - 3rd grade.  Registration was available from May through August 15, 2008.  The season will begin in late October and run until mid-December. There will be two practices a week for the first two weeks and then one practice and one game per week for the remainder of the season.  See your schedule (coming soon!) for specific times and dates.  All games will be played on Saturdays between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.

Winter Season Information:  Grades 4th - 6th

Our winter season for grades 4 - 6 will start in January and runs through mid-March ending with an exciting tournament.  We will be accepting registrations for our 2008 Winter Season in mid-October 2008.    Please watch the website for more details on the upcoming winter season.

Based on parent feedback, we will be holding player evaluations (December 15th - 4th grade, December 16 - 5th grade, December 17 - 6th grade) in an effort to ensure more balanced teams.  We will also be offering a Developmental Clinic on December 29th for incoming 4th graders to help with their transition to 5v5 with referees and full court play.  Cost of the Developmental Clinic is $25.

Evaluations for Grades 4th - 6th
The evaluation process has been implemented in an effort to respond to strong parent feedback about the need to even out the ability levels on different teams.  The details of the process are still being finalized.

During evaluations, the players will be rated A/B/C.  This is by no means a tryout nor should the players feel like they need to "prepare" for this process.  The age group coordinators will then place the kids on teams by their ability and their schools.  For instance, Pinewood may have 8A, 8B, and 8C players.  Instead of putting all the A players on one Pinewood team, we would split the teams equally - spreading out the A, B, and C players so each team is of equal ability.  If all 24 kids from Pinewood turn out to be A players, we may have to distribute them to other teams, keeping only a small group of them together as opposed to an entire team.  It just depends on who signs up and how the evaluations turn out.

We will not have the coaches involved in the process.  This is not a draft.  Evaluators will be other EAA Board members and folks who are familiar with in-house BB.

As always, we will make every attempt to honor requests added to the registration form, but we can not guarantee that all requests will be met.
