In the past ten years the Eagan Wrestling program has become one of the most competitive programs in the state. This success can be attributed to having a strong youth program. There are many great qualities that wrestling has to offer. Wrestling teaches self-confidence, self-discipline, work ethic, and perseverance. In wrestling there are no cuts, no try-outs, and everyone can compete regardless of their size.
Students that are interested in wrestling with limited or no experience should consider participating in our In-House Wrestling Program. Wrestlers are grouped by age, weight, and ability to ensure the best experience possible. This program will offer wrestlers the basics to wrestling in seven weeks. Your wrestler will experience quality coaching, technique, scrimmages, and games related to wrestling.

Please note the changes that have been made for the 2010 In-House Wrestling season. You will find that we have moved to a seven week season that will start in January and end in February. The revised schedule incorporates both technique nights and scrimmage nights that will give your wrestler a balance between drills/games, wresting live, and competing. We will end the season by inviting everyone to join the Eagan Wrestling Club for the remainder of their season which ends March 13. Wrestlers that wrestle the last three weeks with the Eagan Wrestling Club will have the chance to wrestle in a beginner friendly Jaycee qualifying tournament in Goodhue, MN. The changes that we have made to the program will expose your son to wrestling and hopefully motivate them to continue with the sport in the future.
