Eagan Athletic Association

EAA Football holds registration in the spring of each year, typically beginning in late May or early June for the following Fall season. Registration is held as part of Eagan Athletic Association's registration period for Fall sports.

The registration period is very important, because the Board uses registration numbers to decide how many teams will be formed at each grade level. Based on the grade the player will be entering during the upcoming school year, teams are formed at the 3rd grade, 4th grade, 5th/6th grade, 7th grade, and 8th grader levels.

Late registrations (starting JULY 16) will incur an additional $10 late registration fee. FOOTBALL REGISTRATIONS AFTER JULY 16 ARE NOT GUARANTEED AND MAY BE ACCEPTED OR DENIED ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS.  Also they could cause a delay in the player getting his uniform.

Registration will be available on-line and must be paid online at the time of registration.  You may use one of the following methods

• Credit Card
• Debit Card: from your bank account
• Gift Card: must purchase a pre-paid VISA gift card with amount loaded on it. Available at area stores (Walgreens, Cub Foods etc.) in a $20-500 single card

In addition to the registration fee, there is a $100 equipment deposit, which will be collected at the time equipment is checked out for the season. All uniforms, pads and helmets are provided by EAA, Players must provide their own athletic supporter and cup, mouthguard and football shoes. Only molded rubber or plastic cleats are allowed in the 3rd through 6th grader programs - no metal or removable cleats are permitted.  At the 7th and 8th grade level removeable non metal cleats are allowed,

If you are interested in coaching, please indicate as such when registering your child by listing "Head Coach" or "Assistant Coach" in the volunteer field of the on-line registration form.

Also note, pre-season evaluations for each season will again be held at the Eagan High School practice fields, DHMS Fields and BHMS fields.

Evaluations are strictly for determining player skills so that teams may be formed evenly in our player selection draft. Players who cannot make it to player evaluations will be placed on teams based on either their prior years ranking or based on coaches knowledge of the player.
