EAA requires background checks for its board members, sport program directors, program board members, age group coordinators, coaches, assistant coaches, anyone who has direct dealings with children or direct access to financial information, as well as others, in order to ensure the safety and well being of EAA’s athletes and volunteers. All head coaches and assistant coaches in Eagan Athletic Association programs must have a current concussion certification from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (valid for three years) and pass an annual background check. Coaches must have the CDC certificate to register with EAA. (It's recommended that coaches save the certificate PDF to reuse in future years.)

If your concussion certification is complete, click below to register and initiate your background check.
APS Training is also required. You will receive a link to the training after completion of the Sport Engine Membership registration. It is a series of videos and a quiz. Once completed, the status of the training will update on your registration. This training is required every TWO years. Due to the new SE Membership upgrade in 2021, all volunteers will be required to take this training in 2021.
