2023 Tackle Football Registration is CLOSED
Note: SSYFL is moving 3rd/4th grade to 7-man and 5th grade to 9-man.
We will be following the USA Football Development model this season for 3rd, 4th and 5th grade:
- 3rd grade 7-man Tacklebar Rookie Football
- 4th grade 7-man Tacklebar in August; Tackle after Labor Day
- 5th grade 9-man Rookie Football
- 6th, 7th, and 8th grade will play traditional 11-man football
Register for Tackle Football based on the grade your child will be in this fall.
The season runs from Monday August 7 through Saturday October 15.
- Fee: $225 – 3rd through 8th grade
- Late fee ($25) begins July 1
- Registration closes on July 14
- Equipment Deposit Check ($250) due at time of pickup during the last week in July (exact schedule forthcoming)
Cash, Cashiers Check, and Money Orders will not be accepted.
Check will only be cashed if equipment is not returned; if returned, EAA will destroy the check.
Tackle Jerseys are reversible blue/white and will be returned to EAA at the end of the season. All kids will receive a club t-shirt and blue game socks.
Sports Star - Team/Individual Photos
Dates: Tuesday August 15 / Wednesday August 16
Location: Northview Elementary
If weather is unfavorable, pictures will be taken in-doors at Dakota Hills in their cafeteria.
Key details regarding football pictures:
- Parents no longer have forms to fill out prior to pictures being taken.
- Within a week of your scheduled pictures, parents will receive an email with a preview of your child's photo. From the Sports Star site, you can view, crop, and customize the photo before purchasing.
- Your order will be processed and mailed within 10-days of submission.
